5 Day Sydney to Byron Bay Great Aussie Surf Adventure Tour

Stay for 3 nights at the legendary Spot X surf camp and learn to surf with legendary guides

The secret surf location of Spot X is not that secret anymore. In fact, thousands of international travellers have found themselves there, off the beaten track, and forgetting everything in the outside world. Spot X is the quintessential Aussie sand and surf beach.

This tour makes it's way from Sydney to spend three nights at the legendary surf camp. Although we say surf "camp" it is much more of a relaxing communal experience with group morning surf lessons and afternoon activities including beach volleyball, cricket, football,  slip n slide, ocean rafting, kayaking or kangaroo golf. Relax with a good book or snooze in the hammocks, sun bath or if you need to get out of the sun then there is a movie room. Meals are a fun atmosphere for getting to know other travellers and by evening beach parties ensue.

Your accommodation at Spot X is absolute beachfront with Internet access and shop for essentials, and a variety of accommodation types from double and twins, to private rooms or even camping sites.

The surf lessons are with legendary Aussie surf guides of both sexes and they cater to all levels - even if you are an absolute beginner.

Starting in Sydney you have a few options with this trip - finish in Byron Bay or Brisbane or return to Sydney.

    Legendary Staff!

The instructor James was absolutely phenomenal!!! He has loads of experience and is super hands on. He is there to help you out by your side for day one to get you up on your board.

By day three he is still there for you when you are out to catch green waves. The rest of the staff Tasha, Hans, Yoshie (Yoshy?), and Ben are super nice and hospitable :)

    One of the Greatest Experiences

Me and my friends went into this without any idea what to expect but this is definitely one of the greatest experiences I've had.

Brody was our guide and did an amazing job. It was always very clear what our schedule was, never any problems or anything. All of our teachers did an amazing job, so happy.

    Thank you!

    Can't Be Beaten

I went on this 5 day trip and absolutely loved it and stayed for a further 8 months!

The people were great, they wasn't just friends but become family! The food. well I have no complaints :-) There is WiFi but this was never an excitement of mine as I was travelling and enjoying my time with everyone there.

Movie nights/sweatbox nights was all very fun. Surfing at the crack of dawn with your friends and dolphins just can't be beaten. If I could have stayed even longer then I definitely would have.

I 110% recommend this -  surf and stay visits are very good and a pleasant filler in between your travels but i would recommend for at least 5 days to get a more overall experience.

I left just over a year ago and still crave it and miss my time there with everyone I met along the way.
