The West Cost Best Coast Camping Adventure

Explore the beautiful West Coast between Perth to Exmouth. Visiting the Pinnacles Desert, Kalbarri National Park, Coral Bay, Exmouth, The Ningaloo Reef and more! This is a tour for adventours travelers looking for that bush camping experience.

This tour is suited for the adventure travelers. We will be spending time on this tour hiking, swimming, snorkeling, exploring and following the 4WD tracks for our private camping spots amongst the Aussie bush. Spending each night under the stars and sitting around the campfire is a great way to get to know eachother and relax at the end of the day and we love it!. Our maximum group size is 13 as we prefer to take small groups for our passengers to get the most out of it. 

We will explore the beautiful West Coast between Perth to Exmouth. Visiting the Pinnacles Desert, Kalbarri National Park, Coastal Cliffs, Coral Bay, Exmouth, The Ningaloo Reef and more!

Passengers will have the option to snorkel with mantarays, turtles, reef sharks, whale sharks (in season) while we are in Coral Bay and/ or Exmouth on the Ningaloo Reef. This is an amazing experience and highly reccommended. (at own expense)

Itinerary

Day 1 : Perth to Kalbarri
On day 1 we visit Nambung National Park, home of the Pinnacles desert. From here we continue our trek north to Kalbarri National Park, we explore some of the coastal areas of Kalbarri in the afternoon which can include sections of the Bigurda Trail & Eagle Gorge. After a bit of outdoor action we’ll head for our first bush camp of the tour.

Day 2 : Kalbarri to Shark Bay
The beauty of bush camping is that we rise with the sun and get moving early. From our river camp we head back into Kalbarri National Park where we explore the inland gorges of the park including Murchison Gorge & Natures Window. After Kalbarri we head north towards Shark Bay and Monkey Mia, we have an awesome camp right on Shark Bay just metres from the World Heritage Listed waters edge, immersed in total wilderness and surrounded by nature we can soak it all up around the campfire.

Day 3 : Shark Bay to Coral Bay
We rise nice and early and head for Monkey Mia, our camp is only accessible by 4WD so we take on some sand dunes and stop in a Hamelin Pool and Shell Beach on the way to meet the dolphins. If you are lucky enough, you may be chosen to feed one of the dolphins! From Monkey Mia we wave goodbye to our aquatic friends and head for Coral Bay for another another private wilderness camp under the stars, complete with sunset, stars and campfire.

Day 4 : Coral Bay
We spend most the day at Coral Bay where there is a variety of activities to suit all tastes and budgets, including; Relaxing and swimming on the beach Hiring snorkels and exploring the bay Joining a Manta Ray Snorkeling Boat Cruise (additional cost) Joining a Whale Shark Snorkeling Boat Cruise (in season, additional cost)

Day 5 : Coral Bay to Exmouth
From our Coral Bay camp we head a short distance north to the town of Exmouth and the Cape Range National Park More coastal delights abound including a special place called Turquoise Bay, where the coral reef comes right up to the beach, we spend quality time here exploring the reef where we see tropical fish and if lucky turtles and dolphins. In addition to Turquoise Bay the Cape Range National Park is home to Yardie Creek, a coastal gorge where there is a great hike and more swimming opportunities. We access another private wilderness camp right on the Exmouth Bay and enjoy some time under the stars and around the campfire.

Day 6 : Exmouth to Kalbarri
Today we start to drive back towards Perth, stopping in for a lunch and rest in Carnarvon and setting up our camp for our last night in the Kalbarri area.

Day 7 : Exmouth to Perth
Our last day driving back to Perth we stop in Lancelin and have some fun sand boarding, give it a go! Otherwise climb up the white sand dune and take some photos and enjoy the view of the ocean from up the top. Sit back, relax for the last hour and a half of driving to get back into Perth, we will drop you off at your accommodation.

Pickups

Departing Thursdays and Sundays weekly from October 21st 2018 untill March 31st 2019. Pick up from 6AM at most hotels/ backpackers in the Perth City and Northbridge. Please let us know where you are staying so we can arrange best option
